Niki Mullinix | Private Wealth Advisor, CFP ®, CRPC ®, MBA, CDFA

Hi! I’m Niki…

Even though my heart is in Ohio where I grew up, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University. After 23 years, I can finally say my home is here in the Pittsburgh area.

Leaving a small rural town in Ohio and moving to the big city of Pittsburgh was quite a culture shock, but one I had always dreamed of achieving. I had a fantastic opportunity as a marketing professional with the Pittsburgh Pirates official newspaper that I could not pass up. Shortly after my move to Pittsburgh, my life and career path changed in 1998 when my dad’s health began to decline. My dad was a Marine with an extreme work ethic and ran a successful small excavating business. I had witnessed various advisors in his life, but the reality was he had no plan, no goals, and no protection for his business or his family. As a child, I grew up believing he was “wealthy” because he was an excellent provider, and most people would have also assumed that he had all his financial affairs in order. However, it took a Big A-Ha moment to learn that he did not have a plan in place and was not as well off as we thought. That moment made me realize my true passion, so I set out to make a difference and educate others on the importance of financial planning.

I founded the practice in 1999, which has evolved into a holistic financial planning practice in which we integrate vision, values, and goals into our clients’ financial plan to provide them peace of mind and confidence as they accumulate, preserve, and transfer wealth.

Lincoln Financial Advisors Private Wealth Services selected me to join them, which was a great honor to become one of only 65 financial planners in the United States chosen to specialize in financial planning for the high-net-worth.

As a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP), it is my honor to be able to guide senior executives, business owners, and professional women to live out their financial dreams and fulfill their destiny. We offer this through comprehensive financial planning that includes all areas of planning, such as retirement, investments, insurance, estate planning. Since a large majority of our clients focus on retirement, I have obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation to become a specialist in guiding our clients to financial independence.

Also, I am licensed to offer life, disability, and long-term care insurance to help prepare our clients for all of life’s contingencies. In 2018, I completed my Chartered Business Exit Consulting (CBEC) to help business owners plan for their eventual exit from their business and to create liquidity to be able to retire. Most recently, I recognized the need to integrate my faith into my practice, so I earned my Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) designation to professionally share transcendent biblical principles in the financial lives of Christian clients. What I love about this industry is that I am always learning how I can better serve my clients.

Being listed as a Five Star Wealth Manager* is very humbling. Still, my role as a volunteer with multiple organizations such as Delta Gamma Pittsburgh S. Hills Alumnae Chapter, Dress for Success, a CASA volunteer and former board member, Member of The Bible Chapel since 2008, the Chapel Kid’s Children’s Ministry, Board member of The Endurance Foundation, and Women of Philanthropy – Washington Co Community Foundation are my genuine interests and my way of serving in the community and making a difference in the lives of others.

My husband and my three young daughters accept me and my collection of bags, books, and recipes. Hence, the name of our fur baby – Nacho. My heart is happiest with them living life, fulfilling our family mission, and creating new adventures.
